This Janmashtami, KindBid brings you an opportunity to become part of an offering where devotion, craftsmanship and seva come together. A one-of-a-kind handcrafted silk saree will be offered to Lord Krishna at Govardhan Ecovillage on Janmashtami. Following the sacred offering, the saree will be presented and sent to the highest bidder. Most importantly, 100% of the auction amount will go towards welfare initiatives for tribal Janjati communities. WOVEN BY YOUNG HANDS This unique saree has been created by a small team of five young artisans, all approximately 25-26 years old: Swati, Kriti, Vidya and Tanuja from Manor, and Jitesh from Galtare. Each saree takes nearly two to three months to complete, depending on the complexity of its design. Created from silk sourced from Bangalore, every detail reflects months of patience, precision and dedicated craftsmanship. FIRST OFFERED TO LORD KRISHNA On Janmashtami, this saree will be ceremonially offered to Lord Krishna at Govardhan Ecovillage. After the offering, it will be respectfully sent to the highest bidder — making it a treasured remembrance of an extraordinary act of devotion and seva. AN EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH GAURANGA PRABHUJI The highest bidder will also receive a special opportunity to meet and greet Gauranga Prabhuji, join him for an exclusive 30-minute lunch interaction, and receive the handcrafted saree after it has been offered to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami. YOUR BID BECOMES SEVA This auction is not simply about owning a rare saree. It is an opportunity to participate in a sacred Janmashtami offering, encourage the craftsmanship of young rural artisans, spend meaningful time with Gauranga Prabhuji, and contribute towards the welfare of tribal Janjati communities. One saree. Five young artisans. Months of craftsmanship. One sacred offering. And a lasting impact on an entire community. Bid with devotion. Bid for seva. Bid to create an impact.
